Reiki is spiritually guided life energy, valuable for healing body, mind and spirit. Usui Reiki originated in Japan when the healing ability was received by Mikao Usui in 1922, as the result of his prayer for enlightenment. Usui Sensei recognized the value of the gift and formalized a process for teaching it to others.
Holy Fire is not affiliated with any formal religion; in fact it is very effective in healing religious trauma. Many people have been wounded by traditional religious upbringings: Holy Fire gently heals and restores a natural, healthy connection with Higher Power/God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.
Holy Fire Reiki has a higher vibration than traditional Reiki. Healing with Holy Fire Reiki takes place on a deep level.  Many people who have been attuned with Holy Fire Reiki notice that formerly ingrained troublesome issues and tendencies tend to melt away.
Holy Fire Reiki is particularly effective in healing relationships and interactions with others. Those who receive Holy Fire Reiki treatments report a deep feeling of being loved. Holy Fire Reiki can assist people to heal on many levels: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Most people experience deep relaxation during a session, and shifts in physical states and emotional patterns afterward. In rare cases where there are extreme imbalances, after a session a person may feel temporarily worse before they feel better.

As often as you feel you need to. Many issues are resolved in a single session, while others benefit from repeated healing sessions.
Attunement is the most important part of class. During a Reiki attunement, the ability to administer Reiki energy is passed on from the teacher to the student. The attunement may initiate a cleansing process as toxins and thought patterns that are no longer useful begin to be released. It is important to understand this so you can support it by good self care prior to and immediately following an attunement,
Yes! It is a wonderful spiritual path, and is accessible to anyone who is willing to take the time and energy to take the classes and study. There are four levels of Reiki, and with each level you will heal more deeply and become a better healer. Click on the Holy Fire Reiki Classes tab at top for more info.
The ability to provide Reiki healing to yourself and your loved ones is an amazing gift. You can give Reiki to others in person or from a distance. Once you are attuned with Reiki, you will have this incredible healing gift for your entire life; you will always be able to provide comfort and healing to those you love.
Reiki does no harm and is always safe! It is an amazing form of energetic healing because it does not deplete the practitioner's own energy. The healer simply acts as a conduit, and therefore is not in any danger of taking on any illness or negativity from the receiver. In fact, giving Reiki to others can actually heal the healer: because Reiki is divine energy, it goes wherever healing is needed, including in the practictioner!

Karuna Reiki is known as the "Reiki of Compassion" and was developed by the ICRT in 1995. The word Karuna is a Sanskrit term, also used in the Hindu, Buddhist and Zen traditions, and is translated as any action taken to diminish suffering in others. It is based on the spiritual premise that we are all one.
